Like me, you probably read blogs for the pet stuff so I will keep this short ‘n’ sweet.

I am a content and copywriter for the organic & holistic pet and wildlife conservation industries. My career change began after a culmination of events- most significant was losing my dog -Ryle - a few years ago to cancer. I'll talk more about him in other posts.

I decided to start this blog - Aurora Paws- as a companion blog to my company- Aurora Copy- after my dog -Tucker - was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. I'll talk more about that, too.

Thankfully, my two cats - Dylan & Chase - are healthy and just as ornery as they ever were- going on 13 years now.

Pets are not our whole lives, but they make our lives whole.

So, after struggling through repercussions of the economic slump of ‘08 - or whatever they call it- I had an epiphany. My life’s passion is not Corporate America. 

I now work for my dog.

Besides being a total cookie snob, he’s the best boss ever!

I am a writer. I’ve always been one in spite of misguided career paths. I now write for the organic pet and wildlife conservation industries. I believe Nature has always known best and I enjoy researching and writing educational pieces because information is power.

The more you know- right?

This is our blog where I talk about all things pet related. I learn a lot and want to share it. I try to remain unbias but sometimes when the heart is involved, it’s hard to do that.
